Meet the Team

Meet Tayah! Our CEO and Founder of Inspired STL. Tayah created the previously known organization We Inspire in 2019. Tayah’s idea was to be able to help people in need such as individuals needing assistance such as job placement, child care and much more. The idea came when she worked for Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office in 2019 while dealing with individuals in the judicial system. Tayah continued her passion by becoming a police officer in the North County area of St. Louis, MO with the continued hopes and dreams to assist with helping people. 

Meet Sherita!  Sherita brings with her a heart full of passion for teaching and inspiring future leaders. With a background in Early Childhood Education and over 10 years of experience as an educator, Sherita deeply understands the importance of building strong relationships with both her students and their families. She believes in fostering open communication to ensure that every child receives the knowledge they deserve for a bright future.  

 Let’s give a warm welcome to Ryan! A brand new member to our organization! Ryan is a resident of North County in Saint Louis. A father of 2 beautiful girls. He is a police officer with the Berkeley Police Department. He has been with the department for 6 years and serve as a defensive tactics instructor, union representative, police explorer advisor & range instructor. Ryan plans to hit the ground running with community engagement events that will uplift, inspire, and connect the community to a multitude of resources geared to creating a better community. He comes with a wealth of knowledge in community engagement and community outreach having previously worked for the YMCA and on political campaigns. 

  Let’s give a warm welcome to Thomas! A brand new member to our organization!

Thomas is a resident in North County in St. Louis who is a father of three young boys and a dedicated family man. He is also an officer with the Berkeley Police Department serving a total of 6 years, enlisted with the United States Army having served 10 years and been deployed to Germany and Guatamala. Thomas favorite sport is basketball but loves all sports. Thomas hold an Associates Degree in Computer Networking and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Management. Thomas plans to bring community engagement to the organization by focusing on the youth with sports and outside learning. We find that Thomas will be a positive and great asset to the organization! 

  Mya is a resident in North County in St. Louis who is a mother of one daughter. Mya is a licensed cosmetologist who also travels to areas such as Las Vegas, Atlanta, and THE BAY AREA! Mya also is learning to become and certified make-up artist! Mya currently has her own business Beautè Boutique where she has a shop in the city of St. Louis. Mya plans to bring community engagement to the organization by focusing on the youth that deals with alopecia and cancer treatments by future partnerships with St. Jude and conducting “Wigs for Kids”
We find that Mya will be a positive and great asset to the organization!
